Paths Taken

Images of paths - whether forest trails, dirt roads, sidewalks, or highways - always make me think of paths taken, or not taken.


They inspire thoughts of vistas yet to be seen, adventures yet to be had, friends yet to meet...

To me, the saddest people are those who do not realise they are on a path - and so they do not embrace it.


They wander here and there, always looking at the paths not taken, always waiting for a path to appear, never seeing the possibilities of the path they have chosen...
