The road leads on
Trudging thru chill snowpacked days and nights
Wind howls and flurries swirl wild dance
Sunlight glares bright on frost-glimmed fields

The road leads on
Tender green shoots peep thru frost-blankets
Trickles melt to rivers
Soft skies lend gentle breezes to sweep clean


The road leads on
Clear bright days in verdant green vales
Bright sun bakes earthen trails to dust
Cool clear streams bubble and gurgle, enticing
